Crossroads District Park opened in 1992 and features basketball and volleyball courts; soccer, baseball and softball fields; ramadas with grills, a shaded play area (newly installed in October 2015), an amphitheater, a large lake, and a large grassy basin area that provides multi-use fields. Crossroads also has a small dog park complete with two (2) fenced acres with separate use areas for active and timid dogs, partial lighting for night use (south end), owner/pet drinking fountains, tables and benches, "Mutt-Mitt" waste disposal stations and a shaded structure. Crossroads is also home to AZ Ice Gilbert, a family-oriented venue for safe and enjoyable ice activities for all ages such as indoor hockey, public ice skating, party rooms, café, arcade games and programs.
