Campground in Alaska
The Bartlett Cove Campground is open. If you are interested in camping at the Bartlett Cove campground and are not planning on camping in the Glacier Bay Wilderness, complete out a Bartlett Cove Campground Permit Application at the Visitor Information Station. The National Park Service maintains a free walk-in campground in Bartlett Cove, located in a scenic rainforest setting along the shore, 1/4-mile south of the Bartlett Cove dock. The campground features bear-proof food storage caches, composting toilets, a fire pit on the beach, and a small warming shelter. Firewood is provided. Please register online using the Permit Application above. Wheelbarrows are available for transporting gear between the parking area, dock, and campground.
