Campground in California
At an elevation of 7,340 feet, Bitterbrush is a good alternative to other campgrounds in the area for being a milder winter camping option. It is frequently below the snow line or has just minor amounts of snow. The campground boasts views of Owens Valley and the Sierra Crest. There is a creek that runs by the campground, and most sites are creekside which have tall pinyon and jeffrey pines.
