Campground in California
Shirttail Campground is located on the north shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir, in the Tahoe National Forest, 15 miles from Foresthill. Visitors enjoy the area for its fishing, canoeing and hiking opportunities. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. This is not Sugar Pine Point State Park Utility hookups and showers are not available. Off-road vehicle use is prohibited within the Sugar Pine Complex, except for at the staging area near the turnoff to Big Reservoir.
