Lyons Ferry Marina – KOA

Campground in Washington

Overview

Outdoor lovers & history buffs will love this KOA! Lewis and Clark explored our area in 1805 on their way down the Snake River, but Native Americans lived at the confluence on the Snake, Palouse, and Tucannon rivers for thousands of years before that. Our campground and marina are located at the historic Lyons Ferry crossing. The Ferry crossing was used from the mid 1800’s until the 1960’s as a major route along the Mullen Trail, a route supply military forts in the West. Nearby, see Joso Rail Road Bridge (almost ¾ of a mile long). Visit Palouse Falls and view the splendor of the 200-foot waterfall. Hike the canyons of the Palose or fish along the river. Nearby towns of Starbuck, Dayton and Pomeroy let you slow down and enjoy what small town america is all about. Family;owned shops, restaurants and more await.
